Overview

Led a team of 6 designers to build a design system from scratch for an international SaaS property management platform, driving UX strategy across global teams and markets.

The challenge

Align UX across multiple international markets and a wide catalog of existing products with no shared design language, starting from a design audit that surfaced inconsistencies across the whole portfolio.

Design approach

Defined design system principles from the audit findings, then led a team of 6 designers through building the component framework and library, working primarily in Sketch and integrating Figma later in the project, and rolled the system out across product teams with UX workshops for global product owners.

Outcome

A shared design language adopted across product teams with measurable consistency gains, and a maintained system that continued to support new product development.
